Tailor Made were given the task of designing a catering facility, which could serve up to 200 delegates, 7 days a week. Engineers’ House is a 19th century Grade II listed building and we were delighted to be given the opportunity to modernise the main kitchen.
The venue underwent a catering makeover following a total refurbishment. The project took a total of three weeks to complete and consisted of the following:
- Stripping out all the old services
- Widening the doors
- Installing a new 3 phase supply
- A new extraction
- 2 coldrooms
- New ceilings and floors
- Blue Seal cookline
- Rational combination ovens
- A modern pot wash area combined with Hobart pass through equipment
Martyn Bowen is the general manager and he congratulated us on a job well done: “The design, quality of products and work carried out was first class. I am not easily pleased”.
We would like to thank Martyn for his kind words. We are pleased that you are pleased.
