The Brief

It was fantastic to again be asked to work on a new Lounge, this time in the North of Wales! Bangor is the oldest city in wales and was once home to HMS Clio, then used as a school ship and now the namesake of Loungers newest opening. Our task was to develop the former Blue Inc clothes store into another beautifully quirky Lounge.

The Result

The former retail site got a full makeover including new bar and commercial kitchen. A great outcome for Bangor’s increasingly popular high street, the new Lounge will bring in more footfall to the high street with the usual cosy and perfectly eccentric Lounge style we all love. Folding windows from the high street invite you into a spacious and well laid out room of vintage furniture, beautiful wooden flooring and abundant paintings. The space is nicely divided up by the existing pillars, giving it an even bigger feeling of home. The new kitchen is kitted out with all the latest commercial equipment allowing Clio’s fantastic team to provide customers the highest quality food with the best possible service to match.

With a few small finishing touches, the signage is almost there, clean up and strip protective plastic then ready to go……
