The Brief

We were very excited to have the chance to help open the fourth Cosy Club for Loungers LTD. On this occasion, chance brought us to the centre of the historical cathedral city of Salisbury in Wiltshire—famous for being the home of the original copy of the Magna Carta and for its striking 13th century cathedral among other things.

The Result

In terms of the overall bar and restaurant refurbishment—a walk through the front doors of the restaurant opens up onto a world of tasteful decking and vintage-style furniture, deer-antler chandeliers and pale yellow walls, on which hang some large interesting paintings and other features. The restaurant also has a vintage-style open-plan bar, a 60-cover courtyard terrace to the rear, as well as stairs which lead up to a light and airy first floor dining room. The dining areas can comfortably seat 120 diners while accommodating up to 300 guests.

We also used our extensive knowledge of commercial kitchens to make sure we supplied some outstanding commercial kitchen equipment to compliment the overall commercial kitchen design—from Blue Seal equipment with an additional solid top, to a Meiko wash-up area, to Foster refrigeration and a 10 grid Rational.
