Brief:

Dings Rugby Club at Shaftsbury Park, moved to a new home in Frenchay and enlisted Tailor Made to provide them a kitchen and two bars, capable of catering for busy match days and functions.

The function areas are split in to two halves, and the kitchen needs to cater for both in a central location, the bars were mirror opposite is split either side of the kitchen.

The result:

A kitchen on the first floor central to the function space which over looks the pitches with panoramic windows all around. The pitches are on both sides of the stand.

We incorporated two heated passes at either side of the cookline with till station and bains marie service station.

The cookline is comprised of blue seal fryers, range and grill and a 10 Grid combi oven.

Directly behind the cookline is central work space, refrigeration and hot hold. Creating a neat working environment for the catering team the central island services were fed from the ceiling, to keep everything neat, safe and hygienic.

The rear wall is made up of the pot wash section, refrigeration and prep space.

​

The bars are back to back and adjacent to the kitchen and included; large bottle coolers by Gamko to the rear, ice machines, L shaped glass wash stations that fit in to the corner of each and adjustable shelving and sink units across the front with access panels to the beer by pythons. The bars were specifically designed to be 4.6m in length each, in order to cope with demand on busy match days.

The glass washers are by Maidaid and the bespoke fabrication.
