Engineers house

The Brief

Tailor Made were given the task of designing a catering facility, which could serve up to 200 delegates, 7 days a week. Engineers’ House is a 19th century Grade II listed building and we were delighted to be given the opportunity to modernise the main kitchen.

The Result

The venue underwent a catering makeover following a total refurbishment. The project took a total of three weeks to complete and consisted of the following:

  • Stripping out all the old services

  • Widening the doors

  • Installing a new 3 phase supply

  • A new extraction

  • 2 coldrooms

  • New ceilings and floors

  • Blue Seal cookline

  • Rational combination ovens

  • A modern pot wash area combined with Hobart pass through equipment

Martyn Bowen is the general manager and he congratulated us on a job well done: “The design, quality of products and work carried out was first class. I am not easily pleased”.

We would like to thank Martyn for his kind words. We are pleased that you are pleased.
