Milo lounge
The Brief
Really great to have the opportunity to do a total bar and restaurant refurbishment and commercial kitchen design for an ex-restaurant building, in order to transform it into a brand new Loungers restaurant for Lark Lane in Liverpool—an area well-known for its cafes, bars, boutiques and music venues, with a bohemian reputation to match.
The Result
This stylish restaurant, located a stone’s throw from Liverpool city centre, in the famous Lark Lane, really is a must-visit. It is surprisingly large and can serve up to 94 people across its interconnecting rooms—and has a courtyard located to the rear. As you would expect from a Loungers restaurant, the interior is highly comfortable, with captivating attention to detail. A casual stroll through the front doors opens up onto a world of tasteful patterned dark green walls, complimented by a wine-red snug and art deco ‘flycatchers.’ In addition, the layout of the building has been altered from its previous design—there is now a main trading area where part of the kitchen used to be and a cosy snug is now located near to where the ladies toilets used to be. We made sure we used our excellent knowledge of commercial kitchens to handpick some exceptional commercial kitchen equipment for the venue.
Special Thanks
We would like to give a special thanks to all parties involved, once again we achieved an outstanding result. Thank you.
