After a fun packed day of golf, pitch & putt and, paddle; The Hangout offers visitors a vibrant place to relax and indulge. Guests are enticed to share a pizza and a beverage on the roof terrace soaking in the fantastic views over the sites numerous facilities. Alternatively, they might choose to participate in a game of interactive darts or shuffleboard.

 

Tailor Made were given the challenging brief of designing a multi-functional space within the confines of the bar, with dedicated spaces for hot drinks, draught beers, cocktails, ice cream and pizza. The result was an exceptionally functional space where chefs and bartenders can work simultaneously.

 

The focal point of the space is the all-electric Alfa pizza oven that enables a high volume of pizzas to be produced and enjoyed within The Hangout, as well as the adjoining driving range. The talented chefs create their own unique ice cream flavours on site utilising the multifunctional ability of Paco Jets. These can then be served directly from the ice cream conservator where the beakers sit in bespoke stencils.

 

Behind the scenes, Meiko undercounter ware washers offer efficiency and reliability, and a Scotsman ice machine and crusher keeps the cocktail station well stocked.

 

The Hangout is an assault on the senses both visually and culinary and is certainly worth a visit if you’re ever in the Mendips.
